Course Overview

A 1 day workshop which focuses on the characteristics of developing an effective performance appraisal strategy including planning and conducting a performance appraisal meeting, agreeing on a joint development plan and monitoring progress against agreed objectives.

Who is the course for?

This course is aimed at supervisors, senior consultants and team leaders who directly supervise front-line staff and wish to understand how to implement effective performance management strategies for both teams and individuals including managing both poor and good performance.

The use of role-plays, videos, individual activities and group discussions will give participants practical “hands-on” skills that will enable them to analyse their current performance management strategies in place and implement changes designed to maximise both individual and team performance.

At the end of this workshop participants will be able to deliver an effective performance assessment of both teams and individuals including appraising both good and poor performance to agreed performance objectives.
