Manage Effective Workplace Relationships

Increasingly  in  today’s  workplace  environment,  individuals  who  participate  in  a team are  required  to deal with many different  types of  interpersonal behaviours, some of which are quite dysfunctional and can have a major negative  impact on overall workplace relationships.

This practical workshop  is designed to provide all participants with essential skills and knowledge necessary to manage both functional and dysfunctional behaviours in  the  workplace  environment  including  managing  upwards  as  well  as  across teams.

Key modules:

  • Analysing the current status of key workplace relationships
  • Identifying typical workplace issues & effective methods for dealing with these issues
  • Implementing effective interpersonal communication techniques such as influencing others, giving and receiving feedback; being assertive, and managing conflict
  • Effectively managing your “boss”
  • Applying specific techniques to manage major difficulties to achieve positive outcomes – case studies/scenarios
